What is a liquid facelift?
A liquid facelift is a minimally invasive technique for injecting advanced dermal fillers to lift and contour facial features. Many patients are choosing this option to achieve a more naturally youthful look without undergoing surgery.
Each of these FDA-approved injectable fillers has unique attributes that work in their own special way to rejuvenate specific areas of the face.
In general, dermal fillers replace lost volume in the face, which loses its contours as people age. Most facial filler products are made from substances produced naturally in your body, such as collagen and hyaluronic acid.
When placed precisely by an expert hand, the dermal fillers can effectively lift or contour any number of facial features, with long-lasting results and none of the downtime or potential side effects of a surgical facelift.

What results can I expect from a liquid facelift?
In some patients, the goal of a liquid facelift procedure is to tighten and reshape the entire face. Other patients opt to lift or contour specific facial features.
For example, a liquid facelift can improve:
the look of dark circles or under-eye bags and dark circles
- loose skin around chin or neck areas
- cheeks that have lost volume
- sagging or wrinkles around the corners of the mouth
While a surgical facelift provides permanent results, a liquid facelift does not. However, the results are still long-lasting. Depending on the products used and the facial area being treated, a liquid facelift will typically last from one to two years. Sometimes, Dr. Sinha will choose to use muscle relaxers such as Botox® or Dysport® to ensure even longer-lasting results.
During your liquid facelift procedure, Dr. Sinha will typically start by treating your skin with a topical or local anesthetic to ensure your comfort. Then, he will inject each area of your face needing treatment with the appropriate injectable product. The entire process usually takes about an hour from start to finish. In three weeks, you will need a follow-up appointment to
receive touch-up treatments. Some patients may need additional treatment sessions to obtain optimal results.
